Day 1<\/strong><\/p>\nWe will pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Mai.
(IMPORTANT: pick up between 8.15 and 8.45 am<\/strong>)<\/p>\nYou will reach the village of Mae Sapok, around 60 km away, where your accommodation will be located for the duration of your stay. We will introduce you to the day’s schedule over breakfast coffee or tea. You will then drive to our elephant camp, just a few minutes away.
Here you will be presented with information about elephants<\/b> in general and about the tradition of elephant husbandry in Asia. You will get to know our animals and we will introduce you to the characters and history of each individual elephant<\/b> to give you a picture of our heartfelt project.
You will now also get to know your “own” elephant<\/b> for the duration of your stay and will be gently introduced to it. As you mount the elephant, you will also take a seat on its neck and learn the first commands for riding the animals. After lunch, take your elephants to the nearby river<\/b> and enjoy a long swim with the animals<\/b>. You will then begin an extended ride through the<\/b> surrounding forests<\/b> and finally arrive back at the elephant camp.
While the elephants are now enjoying their evening off, you will get to know the village of Mae Sapok. Most of the inhabitants here are people from the Karen hill tribe<\/b>. We will introduce you to the Karen way of life<\/b> with impressive excursions and in-depth background knowledge.
After a relaxing shower in your accommodation, you can enjoy a multi-course dinner typical of the region.<\/p>\n
Day 2<\/strong><\/p>\nAfter breakfast, you will drive to the elephant camp together with your trainer. From there you head into the surrounding forests, where you pick up the elephants from their nightly sleeping places<\/b>. You now ride the animals back to the elephant camp and become increasingly confident in handling the pachyderms thanks to the experience you gained the day before. Afterwards, the pachyderms have to be washed thoroughly – after all, they got quite dirty on the previous trip.<\/p>\n
You will have lunch at the camp and watch the animals at their relaxed lunch time. We then ride another beautiful trail through the adjacent forest<\/b>. You will now visit a local government development project<\/b> that, like us, is committed to building sustainable community structures in the area for the future of elephants. There is also the opportunity to visit a beautiful waterfall<\/b> here.<\/p>\n
Day 3<\/strong><\/p>\nYou enjoy your breakfast and then drive to the elephant camp, where you start a very extensive ride<\/b> with your elephants through the surrounding mountains<\/b>. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of nearby rice fields, the home villages of the elephant guides and the course of the local mountain streams. <\/p>\n
After lunch you will have the opportunity to enjoy a<\/span> <\/span>unique memento<\/b> <\/span>to keep special memories of your stay at Elephant Special Tours. A T-shirt provided by us will be printed with the elephant’s footprint together with you. You will then accompany our elephant calves and their mothers on their afternoon walk and experience their playful, loving moments up close as they explore their environment. <\/span> This rounds off the impressive elephant experience in a pleasant and relaxed way.<\/p>\nDay 4 – 6<\/strong><\/p>\nYou start your motorcycle tour through the spectacular landscape of northern Thailand in the morning. The route can be adapted to suit your needs. Along the way you will sleep in simple, clean accommodation. You will reach the village of Mae Sapok, around 60 km away, where your accommodation will be located for the duration of your stay. We will introduce you to the day’s schedule over breakfast coffee or tea. You will then drive to our elephant camp, just a few minutes away. Day 2<\/strong><\/p>\n After breakfast, you will drive to the elephant camp together with your trainer. From there you head into the surrounding forests, where you pick up the elephants from their nightly sleeping places<\/b>. You now ride the animals back to the elephant camp and become increasingly confident in handling the pachyderms thanks to the experience you gained the day before. Afterwards, the pachyderms have to be washed thoroughly – after all, they got quite dirty on the previous trip.<\/p>\n You will have lunch at the camp and watch the animals at their relaxed lunch time. We then ride another beautiful trail through the adjacent forest<\/b>. You will now visit a local government development project<\/b> that, like us, is committed to building sustainable community structures in the area for the future of elephants. There is also the opportunity to visit a beautiful waterfall<\/b> here.<\/p>\n Day 3<\/strong><\/p>\n You enjoy your breakfast and then drive to the elephant camp, where you start a very extensive ride<\/b> with your elephants through the surrounding mountains<\/b>. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of nearby rice fields, the home villages of the elephant guides and the course of the local mountain streams. <\/p>\n After lunch you will have the opportunity to enjoy a<\/span> <\/span>unique memento<\/b> <\/span>to keep special memories of your stay at Elephant Special Tours. A T-shirt provided by us will be printed with the elephant’s footprint together with you. You will then accompany our elephant calves and their mothers on their afternoon walk and experience their playful, loving moments up close as they explore their environment. <\/span> This rounds off the impressive elephant experience in a pleasant and relaxed way.<\/p>\n Day 4 – 6<\/strong><\/p>\n You start your motorcycle tour through the spectacular landscape of northern Thailand in the morning. The route can be adapted to suit your needs. Along the way you will sleep in simple, clean accommodation. Pure adventure: with elephants and a guided motorcycle tour.<\/h3>\n

Here you will be presented with information about elephants<\/b> in general and about the tradition of elephant husbandry in Asia. You will get to know our animals and we will introduce you to the characters and history of each individual elephant<\/b> to give you a picture of our heartfelt project.
You will now also get to know your “own” elephant<\/b> for the duration of your stay and will be gently introduced to it. As you mount the elephant, you will also take a seat on its neck and learn the first commands for riding the animals. After lunch, take your elephants to the nearby river<\/b> and enjoy a long swim with the animals<\/b>. You will then begin an extended ride through the<\/b> surrounding forests<\/b> and finally arrive back at the elephant camp.
While the elephants are now enjoying their evening off, you will get to know the village of Mae Sapok. Most of the inhabitants here are people from the Karen hill tribe<\/b>. We will introduce you to the Karen way of life<\/b> with impressive excursions and in-depth background knowledge.
After a relaxing shower in your accommodation, you can enjoy a multi-course dinner typical of the region.<\/p>\n
